A deep copper, reddish-brown colour full of caramel-crystal malt and rye malt, giving this beer plenty of character. Bitterness is medium-high to balance the malt character from liberal hop additions of Moutere, Citra and Centennial. The alcohol esters compliment the aroma hops to produce a background of ripe stone fruits and floral citrus notes. As it warms, toffee and caramel notes can be detected. This beer just keeps on giving.
